Back in Oregon!

Back in Oregon. After living in an RV for 4 years, traveling to 43 states, and considering all of our options of places to live, we landed back in Oregon! We found that special place where we can spend our retirement years riding motorcycles, hiking, and exploring—a location that will bring us much joy, peace, and family happiness. Oregon’s diverse landscapes and vibrant communities make it an ideal home base for our next chapter. We look forward to embracing all the outdoor adventures and quiet moments this beautiful state has to offer.

South Dakota

Quest for the West

“The Many Faces of South Dakota” and Best of South Dakota lies in Wall, The Badlands, and Keystone.

If you love to travel, and we can only assume that you do, you will recognize the need to make up time to reach a destination. It was that need that prevented us from enjoying some of what Wisconsin and Minnesota had to offer. But, a sincere “thank you” to both of these states for the scenic lakes and forests that they provided us on our way to SODAK. (South Dakota:)

The U.P. of Michigan

We too wanted to relive those moments having visited the area just one year ago. Munising and the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is the first location we chose to revisit in our 3 years of adventure. “Pure Michigan” is more than a slogan on a vehicles license plate, it is a rallying cry for everything there. The water, the land, the people are all Pure Michigan!

Upstate New York (and Vermont)

Our first stop after the month we spent in Maine: Upstate New York on Lake Champlain. Our goal: Get to Lake Placid and see the 1980 Olympic sites. This was a memorable stop for us. We hope you enjoy the photos and blog.
